Momna has extensive experience in handling dispute resolution, providing legal advisory services and policy making. She has represented and advised clients across a varied and diverse range of legal issues. She is an experienced litigator and regularly appears before the Courts and Tribunals of Pakistan in matters pertaining to constitutional, tax, competition, TMT and employment law. She has represented and advised companies and governmental institutions in the fintech, automobile, revenue, media, education and telecommunications sectors.
Momna has successfully represented various governmental bodies in several constitutional petitions before the High Courts in matters ranging from levy of taxes to grant /revocation of licenses. She has also successfully represented clients in the education sector in a constitutional petition pertaining to admissions and scholarships.
Apart from litigation Momna has advised various multinational corporations regarding employment, anti-trust, data privacy, contractual and labour matters. Additionally, she has significant experience in handling corporate transactions which include mergers & acquisitions and corporate financing.
Momna is an Advocate High Court and holds an LL.M. from University of California, Berkeley with two specializations in International Law and in Public Interest & Social Justice Law. She holds an LL.B (Hons.) from the University of London.
She has published several articles in leading national newspapers and law journals regarding international human rights frameworks, constitutional law and freedom of speech.
